Percy Jackson Blue Chocolate Cookies

So unlike most recipes that people post, I've decided to give the recipe first and then the little background second. Okay? Okay Ingredients: 1 box Blue Velvet Cake Mix 1/2 container of Whipped Topping As many Chocolate chips as you like Directions: Preheat your oven to about 350 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients together using a paddle. Using a small scoop, scoop up about 1 inch diameter balls of dough and place them on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven for about 15-20 or until the tops and edges are a greenish brownish color. Take out of the oven and then place on a cooling rack after about 10 minutes. My story on this recipe? I have been searching on the internet since my freshman year of high school for a recipe for Percy Jackson's favorite food: Blue Chocolate Chip Cookies. Getting the words onto the page

The thing I find about writing is it's so very easy to look at something and think "Wow, that would make a great  story." For some people it's so simple: you see something and write it down in your little moleskin notebook and write more later. Then there's the rest of us. The rest of us say "Yeah, I could write." And never actually do. You need to push yourself a little more. "But Kathleen, I don't know what to write about?" Yeah, well neither do I. Truth is, for me some days my fingers twitch because of how much creative energy is flowing through me and demands be drawn out in some way. I'll try to hold it in for NANOWRIMO or some special occasion and then I almost explode because I can't get it out. That's kind of what this blog is for.
