So for the first actual post for BEDIF I decided to start off by talking about one of my favorite games at the moment.. Yandere Simulator.
While at first glance, this game looks as if it is about a cute little Japanese schoolgirl
But can also be as easily be very dark
The choice is up to the player.
The main plot of the game is that you are a young Yandere girl who wants attention from her Senpai and will get that attention from any way possible. It could be murder or it could be matchmaking, like I said it is up to the choice of the player.

Anyway, back to the point of this post.

Yandere Dev added a helpful little tool when it comes to creating characters in Yandere Simulator: The JSON file called "Students" it is located inside the folder called "YandereSimulator_Data" that is downloaded along with the game:
Click that and then click on the folder called "StreamingAssests"
And then to "JSON"
And finally, click on "Students"
Here it is opened in Notepad.
Why don't we change our precious Senpai:
Now, the first thing you can change is the name,
This is the easiest one to change. All you have to do is type in their name. I'm going to type in "Danny" because I am a big fan of Game Grumps.
Next, we can change the gender. "0" is for female and "1" is for male.
I am not changing that so lets move on.
The next changeable thing is the Club.
It always sort of bothered me that Senpai wasn't in a club.
Here is a list of the clubs and the number you will put where it says "Club":"_":
No Club - 0
Cooking Club - 1
Drama Club - 2
Occult Club - 3
Art Club - 4
Light Music Club - 5
Martial Arts Club - 6
Photography Club - 7
Science Club - 8
Sports Club - 9
Gardening Club - 10
Gaming Club - 11
Teacher (Faculty) - 100
Gym Teacher (Faculty) - 101
I'm just going to put him in the Light Music Club, don't mind me.
Next is the Persona. Here is the list for that:
Loner (Male only) - 1
Teacher's Pet (Male only) - 2
Heroic (Both) - 3
Coward (Female Only) - 4
Evil (Female Only) - 5
Social Butterfly (Female Only) - 6
Strict (Teacher only) - 9
Our poor Senpai is currently a "1" or a Loner. So I'm going to change him to a "3" or a Heroic Personality. It won't affect Senpai, but it will affect other characters. Example, if you edited Kokona to be Heroic instead of a Social Butterfly, she will fight you if she sees you commit murder. If Senpai sees you, it's a game over.
You can edit the Crush, all you have to do is put the number of the corresponding individual. Senpai should not like anyone, except for me. So we will not edit that.
Next is Breast Size. For that, you can put in a number between 0.2 and 2.3. Males automatically get a 0.
Strength.
Our poor Senpai is a weakling.
0 - Incapable
1 - Very Weak
2 - Weak
3 - Strong
4 - Very Strong
5 - Martial Arts Master
6 - Extensive self - defense training
*If you put 6 on a student, it will be almost impossible to defeat them.
I'm going to put Senpai as a 4. He will not fight me back because I will drop my weapon because of his aura. So it's basically useless. But they will affect other characters.
Now for the hairstyles.
Oh boy, this is going to be a little while so here's a list of the available hairstyles and the number to put with them
"1", Senpai, Ayano
"2", Haruto, Yui
"3", Sota, Yuna
"4", Hayato, Kohara
"5", Ryusei, Mei
"6", Sora, Saki
"7", Riku, Kokona

Some hairstyles need to stay the same color though, I personally have not attempted to change them, but I wouldn't risk it.
colors you can pick are Red, Orange, Brown, Yellow, Green, Blue, Cyan, Purple, and Black.
I will change Senpai's Hair to "9" and Brown. Fight Me. (I know that you can edit Senpai on your own in "New Game," but I just wanted to show how it can be done.)
Next, you can change the Stockings to either "None" or "Loose". Loose will be ones that Musume Ronshaku wears. They basically look like legwarmers. I'm not adding them to Senpai, sorry m8.
And that's all I really want to sit down to play around with. So when we open up the game and find our lovely Senpai, he will look something like this:

His picture will not match how he now looks. If you want to edit that, you will have to edit the picture in the Portraits folder and name the new picture as "Student_(corresponding Number)"
